In the beginning
Aidan McGuire and Sue Johnson started their first company in 1990 which specialised in the supply and support of double byte language systems (Japanese/Chinese).
From this niche activity the company expanded and was formally
incorporated in 1996 to Blue Fountain Systems Limited.
In 1998 the company opened its Belgian subsidiary Blue Fountain Systems SA.
In 2002 BFS moved the main office from London to Liverpool to provide the company with the right location to grow further.
The company now has offices in Liverpool, London, Brussels, Prague and Dusseldorf with plans for further expansion.
