BFS join Oxfam at Ploneability 06

BFS joined Oxfam GB recently in a very successful one day mini-conference to introduce Plone CMS to charities and non-government organisations or NGO's.

Andrew Hatton, one of the organisers of the event, explained "The idea behind the day was to introduce not-for profit organizations to the power and flexibility of the Plone CMS. Plone is ideal for these

organisiations and it was important to show how effectively it can be leveraged for them".

The event covered a range of Plone issues and speakers including :

Details of the Oxfam Plone Story by Andrew Hatton

The Plone Community by Paul Everitt, Executive Director Plone Foundation

A real time demonstration of building a Plone site

and a presentation by BFS Technical Director Ian Cottee (aka Zobbo) on Plone Hosting and Solutions.

Ian Cottee commented "It was a really good day which gave everybody a great introduction to Plone as an easy to use tool for sharing information to promote collaborative working"
