The Blue Box range forms the back bone of the Blue Solutions suite of products.
As an extremely cost effective server solution based on a pre-built server running Linux, the Blue Box servers can be configured to meet enterprise, branch or office wide specifications providing corporate VPN systems, gateway Web access or simple print/file server solutions.
The launch of the Blue Box range follows extensive research undertaken by Blue Fountain which highlighted a lack in the market of a full managed IT service that is available at a low monthly cost and which includes a server, and a pre-agreed level of support.
The Blue Box solution delivers a leading edge IT solution to many smaller organizations or to larger organizations that are not in a position to commit large amounts of resource to internal IT staff or support technicians themselves.
The Blue Box Range
- Blue Box EX series provides for fully maintained web and mail servers.
- Blue Box IX series is intended as a ‘perimeter’ server providing a Gateway between the Internet and a Local Area Network.
- Blue Box FX series is primarily an internal file and print server.
All of which can be modified to deliver the exact solution required by the customer at a fraction of the cost for the same service if developed and delivered by a company internally.
